Raised in Pennsylvania and now based in Los Angeles, Emily Brooks is a self-taught alt-rock singer-songwriter who writes, records, and produces her own music while also writing and performing across genres for TV and film. Her sound is raw, cinematic, and emotionally fearless—blending gritty guitars, haunting vulnerability, and explosive rock energy into something that feels both timeless and alive.

Growing up a black sheep in her family and the Catholic school system, Emily found refuge on stage early on, singing under the trees, scribbling poems in class, and chasing the feeling of becoming fully alive through art. Rejected from music school and teased for her voice, she spent years believing she was not enough before ultimately finding her way back to herself through music.

Now creating songs that turn pain into power and chaos into catharsis, Emily challenges people to feel deeply in a world that often encourages numbness—to break, to rage, to heal, and to rise.
